If creation is real, then there must be only one supreme creator in charge of everything. Because the universe was actually created instead of just simply evolved, there must be one mastermind God behind the entire project.
But people construct God in their own imagination. So how many Gods do people think really exist??
Anthropologists estimate that at least 18,000 different gods, goddesses, and various animals or objects have been worshipped by humans throughout history:
Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, are monotheistic, believing in one single God.
And Hinduism is polytheistic, meaning that they believe in many gods. However, they also believe that there must just be one single supreme force that manifests its essence in various forms.
Consider that there are around 4,200 total religions in the world, each with its own set of deities, leading to a large number of potential gods. But Hinduism may even have 330 million, representing the many aspects of deity.
In contrast, Buddhism and Jainism, don’t believe in gods in the traditional sense but simply believe that there are higher powers, enlightened beings, and mystical divine figures.
So how many Gods are there really? Just One. God created you and this wonderful planet sustained by consistent sunshine and abundant rain from above. Life is a gift from the Creator. It’s simply too preposterous to believe that life, in all its symmetrical complexity and apparent “design”, has evolved through mutation “by chance”. God, an intelligent Designer, has carefully crafted creation to sustain life.
So if God exists, why do people from all nations, come up with all of these manifestations of God? Is there no consensus?
Yes, there is an underlying consensus establishing the validity of design in nature that screams creation and a Creator. This worldwide consensus not only stems from observation but from a historical explanation.
God created the world. A worldwide Flood destroyed the world. One family survived. They knew God had done this. All families on earth are descendants of Noah. Our ancestor, Noah, knew the true God and knew the truth about the Flood. This story was passed down through the ages to all civilizations.
But the truth of God has been distorted into myths, mysticism, and manifestations of a perceived reality.
Therefore, according to this summation found in Romans 10:2-4, “They have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God.”
Furthermore, (Romans 1:24 to 32) “Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen”
The mission is to restore the true reality of Who God is to all people groups. We are restoring all cultures to their lost foundation of their ancient ancestor, Noah. Advancing this great commission is the most worthy calling of the true believer in the One true God Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth.
The Great Commission (Matthew 28:16-20) explains this as “Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen”
The Bible proclaims that truly, there is only one true God.
1 Timothy 2:5 – “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;”
Isaiah 44:6 – “Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.”
Isaiah 43:11 – “I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no Saviour.”
1 Corinthians 8:6 – “But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.”
James 2:19 – “Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.”
Isaiah 43:10 – “Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.”
Revelation 1:8 – “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.”
Jude 1:25 – “To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.”
Isaiah 42:8 – “I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.”
Mark 12:29 – “And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord.
“Deuteronomy 6:4-15″Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.”
Be true to yourself. Accept the truth that there is ONLY ONE GOD and that He loves you and that He wants to have a personal relationship with you, HIS SPECIAL CREATION!
