WHEN IT COMES TO THEOLOGY...
"HONESTY IS THE ONLY POLICY"
1 John 1:3
"We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us."
You heard that it has been said, let's agree to disagree. In theology, we can't do that.
2nd Corinthians 8:21
"For we are taking pains to do what is right, not only in the eyes of the Lord but also in the eyes of man."
The truth about heaven and earth, God and the Bible, Jesus and salvation may not be distorted. Just as there is one God, there is only one true Doctrine regarding the fundamentals of the faith they must be kept and upheld as a banner of righteousness and truth at all cost! Anything less would be a lie.
Colossians 3:9
"Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices."
In all honesty, truth is love. If you really care for a person's soul, you can't mislead them. Theology is such an important topic because it offers the keys to eternal life and the wrong key won't open the door.
Ephesians 5:11
“Have nothing to do with fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.”
A good theologian understands the truth and teachers it Faithfully. He confronts false Gospels and exposes false Doctrine. We can't agree to disagree when it comes to the fundamentals of the faith. We follow Christ, the Bible, and the Holy Spirit in all truth.
2 Timothy 2:2
"And what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to TEACH OTHERS ALSO."

Look at the ships also: though they are so large and are driven by strong winds, they are guided by a very small rudder wherever the will of the pilot directs.
