{"id":1,"date":"2022-09-30T04:38:24","date_gmt":"2022-09-30T04:38:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/teleios.site\/?p=1"},"modified":"2025-03-09T03:12:59","modified_gmt":"2025-03-09T10:12:59","slug":"scriptural-support","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/onlineseminary.info\/index.php\/2022\/09\/30\/scriptural-support\/","title":{"rendered":"Doctrine Seminary Scriptural Substantiation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Please read the Bible verses below that support and represent careful Biblical interpretation and exegesis at Doctrine Seminary.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2>Theology Requires <br>Complete Honesty<\/h2>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>1 John 1:3 &#8220;We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>You&#8217;ve heard that it has been said, \u2018let&#8217;s agree to disagree.\u2019 In theology, we can&#8217;t do that.<\/h3>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>2 Corinthians 8:21 &#8220;For we are taking pains to do what is right, not only in the eyes of the Lord but also in the eyes of man.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>The truth about heaven and earth, God and the Bible, Jesus and salvation may not be distorted. Just as there is one God, there is only one TRUE Doctrine regarding the fundamentals of the faith that MUST be kept and upheld as a banner of righteousness and truth at all cost! Anything less would be a lie.<\/h3>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Colossians 3:9 &#8220;Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>In all honesty, truth is love. If you really care for a person&#8217;s soul, you can&#8217;t mislead them. Theology is such an important topic because it offers the keys to eternal life and the wrong key won&#8217;t open the door.<\/h3>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Ephesians 5:11 \u201cHave nothing to do with fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>A good theologian understands the truth and teachers it Faithfully. He confronts false Gospels and exposes false Doctrine. We can&#8217;t agree to disagree when it comes to the fundamentals of the faith. We follow Christ, the Bible, and the Holy Spirit in all truth.<\/h3>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>2 Timothy 2:2 &#8220;And what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to <b>TEACH OTHERS ALSO<\/b>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Proverbs 18:21 \u201cDeath and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Ephesians 4:29 \u201cLet no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Proverbs 12:18 \u201cThere is one whose rash words are like sword thrusts, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Matthew 12:36 \u201cI tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Hebrews 4:12 \u201cFor the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword&#8230;\u201d<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Proverbs 15:1 \u201cA soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Proverbs 16:24 \u201cGracious words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Proverbs 21:23 \u201cWhoever keeps his mouth and his tongue keeps himself out of trouble.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Proverbs 13:3 \u201cWhoever guards his mouth preserves his life; he who opens wide his lips comes to ruin.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Psalm 19:14 \u201cLet the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Proverbs 15:4 \u201cA gentle tongue is a tree of life, but perverseness in it breaks the spirit.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>James 1:26 \u201cIf anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this person&#8217;s religion is worthless.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Matthew 15:18 \u201cBut what comes out of the mouth proceeds from the heart, and this defiles a person.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Matthew 12:37 \u201cFor by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Colossians 4:6 \u201cLet your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Proverbs 10:19 \u201cWhen words are many, transgression is not lacking, but whoever restrains his lips is prudent.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>James 1:22 \u201cBut be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Luke 6:45 \u201cThe good person out of the good treasure of his heart produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure produces evil, for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Colossians 3:8 \u201cBut now you must put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene talk from your mouth.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>John 6:63 \u201cIt is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help at all. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Ephesians 6:10 \u201cFinally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>James 1:21 \u201cTherefore put away all filthiness and rampant wickedness and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Isaiah 55:11 \u201cSo shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Proverbs 25:11 \u201cA word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in a setting of silver.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Matthew 12:34 \u201cYou brood of vipers! How can you speak good, when you are evil? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Romans 12:14 \u201cBless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Proverbs 11:12 \u201cWhoever belittles his neighbor lacks sense, but a man of understanding remains silent.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>James 3:1-12 \u201cNot many of you should become teachers, my brothers, for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness. For we all stumble in many ways. And if anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle his whole body.
